An award-winning Cloud Solutions Provider is looking for an Infrastructure Consultant to join them on a predominantly remote/ home based working basis. As Infrastructure Consultant, you will be instrumental in the delivering of technical Cloud solutions to customers and partners. Your work will include:

• Managing data centre environments and cloud infrastructure using VMware and Veeam.
• Act in a customer facing role, being involved in customer meetings, discussions, and consultation.
• Proposal writing.
• BaaS focussed, still do some Hosting.
• Manage core, centralised and distributed technology.
• Ensure technology domains, components and services are operated securely.

The business will support you to work in a completely remote working capacity, with any tech or training you need provided for by the business. The business does however ask that you have:

• 5+ years of relevant experience managing backups, storage, and virtual platform environments, ideally within Veeam and VMware.
• Microsoft server operating systems and infrastructure experience.
• Proposal and documentation writing experience.
• Experience of working with customers, providing an excellent customer service.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring others.
• Ensure all technology domains, components and services are secure and operated securely.

Key Area's of knowledge:

• Cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, network & security services.
• Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery (VMware, VEEAM, etc)
• Virtualisation and Virtual Desktop Technologies.
• Cloud technologies (Azure)
