A global automotive company that is leading the way in autonomous driving and electrification is looking for an IT Application Consultant to join their offices in the Hildburghausen region, on a hybrid and flexible working basis: With a mix of on-site and home-based working. The business is looking to expand in the European market and invest in their IT team due to the exciting expansion of their processes and systems. As their new IT Application Consultant, you be the link between the Controlling and IT department for all locations. The business prides itself on its development program and will offer you the opportunity to learn and progress with new technologies. Whilst Application and IT experience is desired, you do not need IT experience for this role, they are happy to train however they do ask for previous Finance/Controlling experience and an understanding of ERP systems.

• Analyse and provide data, identifying patterns and act upon these, ensuring processes are optimized.
• Understand requirements from the controlling department and consider IT concepts for them, and then implement them.
• IT Project support, ensuring business processes are budgeted and optimal, providing the link between financial control and the IT department.
• First/second line support for applications.

• Experience and understanding of ERP Systems is essential.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Experience within Controlling or Finance (minimum 3 years).
• Fluent German and Good English (Verbal and Written).
