With a strong pipeline of projects and a collaborative team culture, they’re now looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join them in Nottingham. The role offers flexible hybrid working, with occasional client site visits as required.

As Lead Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for owning the end-to-end requirements process - from discovery to delivery. You’ll work closely with clients, vendors, and technical teams to shape software solutions that meet real business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading discovery sessions to capture and refine business requirements
• Translating needs into user stories, functional specifications, and supporting documentation
• Coordinating with vendors to gather quotes and validate technical feasibility
• Running workshops, walkthroughs, and solution demos with stakeholders
• Collaborating with developers, testers, and product owners throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensuring solutions align with business objectives and deliver value

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a senior or lead role
• Strong background working on software and digital application projects
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, from end users to exec level
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Confidence in vendor engagement and supporting pricing proposals
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Any technical knowledge or hands-on involvement in software projects is highly beneficial
