Job Title: Network Project Engineer Location: London (2 days a week) Salary: £65,000
Due to continued success and team expansion, a world-renowned Professional Services Provider is seeking a Network Project Engineer to join their team and work with large Financial Enterprise clients.
The company is enhancing its client services by building and upgrading network infrastructure and data centre environments, and they are now looking for an experienced engineer to play a key role in these critical projects.
As a Network Project Engineer, you’ll work within the project team to build, deploy, and validate new network infrastructure. You’ll also ensure all solutions are delivered to production standards and documented clearly for operational teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying, configuring, and testing network infrastructure in data centre and enterprise environments.
- Working closely with architects and project managers to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Acting as a key point of contact for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Producing and maintaining accurate documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Supporting project cutovers and troubleshooting any deployment issues.
The business provides flexibility in working style and has an efficient onboarding process to help you integrate into the team and ongoing projects.
You’ll ideally have:
- UK citizenship (essential for client/project requirements).
- CCNP-level networking knowledge or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Strong experience with network build and deployment projects.
- Hands-on data centre experience with routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Experience with Arista network equipment (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with Corvil or other low-latency monitoring tools (a strong plus).
- Experience in customer-facing roles, with excellent communication skills across teams.
