A leading international business field are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join their established and growing team based in Neuburg. Although they also have offices throughout Germany, in Munich, Ravensburg, and Wurzburg, giving you huge flexibility in where and when you work in a hybrid working environment. The business is part of a multi-billion-euro, international organisation that employs more than 80,000 employees in over 200 locations around the globe. They are now looking to invest in their Infrastructure team, with an experienced networks professional who can support their business as they continue to expand. They are looking for an experienced Network and Security Engineer, to assist with both maintenance and project delivery (50/50split) across 8 sites specific to the business.
As Network Security Engineer your work will be split across support and maintenance, and project delivery, giving you variety in your work. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance and further development of LAN, WLAN and DC Network infrastructure based on Cisco and Palo Alto.
- DC site builds, migrations and deployments.
- Manage and maintain network across 8 sites.
- Ensuring and maintaining high availability environments at all locations.
- Planning and implementation of IT and IT security projects.
- 2nd/3rd level support when necessary.

- Experience of Cisco Networks (LAN and WLAN focus).
- Experience with Palo Alto (other firewall experience maybe considered).
