Job Title: Project Engineer - AV Integration Location: London (On-site) Salary: £25,000 - £35,000

As a Project Engineer, you will work alongside Lead Engineers and fellow team members to deliver AV projects on time and to a high standard. You’ll assist with installation, wiring, and commissioning tasks while supporting site coordination and maintaining excellent quality and safety practices.
- Collaborating with Lead Engineers, site teams, and third-party contractors to complete projects
- Performing 2nd fix installations including AV outlets, data, TV, and speakers
- Building racks, terminating patch panels, and wiring power and data as per company guidelines
- Installing and wiring lighting and blind control panels (Lutron, Crestron)
- Installing TV/Satellite distribution, video entry, access control, CCTV, and cinema/surround sound systems
- Using laptops to diagnose basic network and system issues
- Reading and following technical drawings and schematics, assisting junior team members where needed
- Protecting high-end site finishes and documenting work to avoid damage claims
- Providing progress updates to the Project Manager when no Lead Engineer is present
- Adhering to health and safety standards on site
- Solid understanding of AV systems and their integration
- Hands-on experience with cinema and surround sound systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Basic electrical knowledge and fault-finding skills
- Practical field experience in AV installations
- Problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to support out-of-hours call rota as required
- Enthusiasm to learn Lutron programming and basic Crestron courses is a plus
