Job Title: Business Admin & Finance Assistant (Part-Time, Maternity Cover) Location: Liverpool City Centre (Hybrid Working) Salary: £30,000 pro rata (£15,000 - £20,000)
At Dynamic Search, we specialise in connecting top-tier IT talent with fast-growing tech companies. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Admin & Finance Assistant to support the wider team from our Liverpool HQ.
This is a part-time role (9:00am to 1:00pm), initially offered as maternity cover, with potential to progress into a full-time, permanent position as the business continues to scale.
This is a varied and important role supporting multiple areas of the business, including finance, executive support, and office management. You will play a key role in keeping things running smoothly day-to-day, working closely with directors, external accountants, and the wider team.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration
- Process supplier payments, banking, purchasing, and online invoicing
- Support VAT returns and liaise with external accountants
- Handle commission submissions and payroll administration
- Assist with reporting, including P&L and finance-related tracking
- Manage diaries and appointment scheduling for directors
- Oversee day-to-day office management, including stationery and supplies
- Coordinate internal admin processes to ensure smooth business operations
- Provide general administrative support across the business as needed
This role would suit someone highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple priorities. Previous experience in finance administration, bookkeeping, office management, or business support would be highly beneficial. To succeed in this role, you will need to be:
- Experienced using Xero or similar accounting software
- Comfortable handling bookkeeping and finance administration
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and able to manage your own workload
- A confident communicator who can work with stakeholders at all levels
- Reliable and trustworthy, particularly when handling sensitive information
- Comfortable using digital tools and systems
- A positive team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
