An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Installation/Service Engineer to join their close-knit UK field team of 15 engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake sound system installation works and service calls independently or as part of a 2-person team in accordance with issued plans and specifications.
• Perform accurate fault finding and diagnosis of audio and audio-visual system issues.
• Act as lead engineer on behalf of the Project Manager on key installations when required.
• Mentor, support, and assist less experienced or trainee engineers in the field.
• Ensure strict adherence to client site requirements, health & safety regulations, and accurate completion of documentation and marked-up plans.
• Maintain accurate stock records, basic equipment levels, and routine vehicle checks on your company van.

• Proven experience in audio or commercial AV installation and service environments.
• Ability to read, interpret, and mark up audio installation drawings and site plans.
• Physically fit and able, comfortable working at height, and capable of manual handling due to city-centre parking and site restrictions.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a methodical, neat, and tidy approach to work.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor at all times, and a positive "can-do" attitude.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK and flexibility towards travel.

• Base Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum.
• Performance Bonus: 5% yearly bonus tied to company performance.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard office hours (48-hour contract structure).
• Travel & Overtime: All travel is paid door-to-door. Overtime kicks in after the first 1.5 hours of your commute and is paid at 1.5x, with existing team members easily earning an additional £10,000+ per year in overtime.
• Vehicle & Equipment: A brand-new company van is provided along with tools, uniform, and safety boots.
• Training & Development: Full training matrix including standard industry certifications (ECS, PASMA, IPAF, Asbestos) and manufacturer-specific training.
