We are working with a growing wealth management business that is investing in its internal technology capabilities as part of a wider growth strategy. They are expanding their in-house engineering capability to support continued product development and innovation.

The business has ambitious growth plans and expects significant expansion over the next 12 months. As a result, they are looking to bring in a Full Stack Developer who can contribute to the development of internal platforms and help shape the future of their technology function.

The engineering team operates in a collaborative and agile environment, working closely with business stakeholders and deploying changes regularly through a continuous development approach.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain full stack applications using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks.
• Contribute to frequent deployments and continuous development cycles.
• Build scalable applications within a cloud based infrastructure environment.
• Support the design and development of backend services and APIs.
• Work within containerised environments and contribute to infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with other engineers through daily stand ups and planning sessions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical process mapping.

• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript development.
• Experience working with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerised application environments.
• Experience working within cloud based environments, ideally AWS.
• Understanding of data modelling concepts is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a small, agile team with a high degree of autonomy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with non technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a startup or scale up environment is beneficial.

• Salary of £60,000 plus 5% performance bonus.
• Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the St Albans office.
