Job Title: Lead Security Architect Location: Remote (Occasional travel to client sites in London) Salary: £90,000 - £130,000

Working with a broad range of enterprise clients, the business specialises in delivering modern security solutions across SIEM, SOAR, cloud security, detection engineering, and threat intelligence.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly technical team where you'll have genuine ownership of security architecture, influence technical direction, and help shape next-generation security services used by organisations across the UK.
As a Lead Security Architect, you'll play a key role in designing and evolving modern security platforms, working closely with engineering, SOC, and customer teams to deliver scalable, secure, and automated security solutions.
- Designing security architectures across SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud security, and supporting platforms.
- Defining scalable approaches for log ingestion, detection engineering, alerting, and automation.
- Providing technical governance across customer solutions, integrations, and platform enhancements.
- Supporting the development of detection, response, and security automation capabilities.
- Reviewing technical designs to ensure scalability, resilience, and operational effectiveness.
- Working closely with engineering teams to improve telemetry, data quality, and platform reliability.
- Establishing best practices for security content, integrations, and platform configuration.
- Mentoring engineers and security analysts while helping define architectural standards across the business.
- Proven experience in Security Architecture or hands-on Security Engineering with a strong architectural mindset.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud security, or related security technologies.
- Experience working within at least one major security ecosystem such as Microsoft, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto, or similar.
- Experience designing security logging, detection, response, and automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data models, and cloud-based architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable experience includes:
- Azure or other cloud platform expertise.
- Detection engineering, threat hunting, or SOC experience.
- CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containers, or cloud deployment methodologies.
- Experience mentoring technical teams.
- Previous experience within an MSSP, consultancy, or customer-facing security environment.
- Fully remote working with occasional client travel.
