Roles & Responsibilities

As a Network Engineer within the Professional Services team, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering customer projects across networking, cloud, and modern workplace initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering network-focused installation and upgrade projects on-site and remotely.
  • Implementing and supporting LAN, WLAN, routing, and switching solutions.
  • Conducting WiFi surveys, validating designs, and assisting with wireless network rollouts.
  • Supporting modern workplace and cloud deployments, including Microsoft 365 migrations and security configurations.
  • Working with Windows Server and Active Directory as part of integrated network projects.
  • Reviewing technical designs produced during presales and contributing to project planning.
  • Ensuring solutions are fully tested, documented, and handed over professionally.
  • Producing clear technical documentation and installation reports.
  • Managing workload across multiple projects and escalating issues when appropriate.
Your Skills & Experience
  • Confident communicator, able to engage with clients and stakeholders professionally.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and customer-focused.
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a project team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Logical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies.
  • Experience installing or supporting LAN and WLAN networks.
  • WiFi surveys and wireless network deployment experience.
  • Microsoft 365 administration and tenant configuration.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Experience with Windows Server environments.
  • Active Directory configuration and support.
  • Experience with firewall or network security technologies is advantageous but not essential.
