As NOC Engineer, you'll play a key first line role within the Network Operations Centre, proactively monitoring customer networks and acting as the first point of contact for incidents and service requests.

• Proactively monitor customer devices, dashboards, logs, and NMS systems
• Raise and investigate incidents when issues are identified, escalating to senior engineers where needed
• Respond to customer raised incidents and service requests via telephone, email, or web portal
• Progress tickets through a standard service desk tool to meet customer SLAs
• Follow defined scripts to implement changes on customer systems
• Spend one day a week on site at a customer location in Liverpool

• 1-2+ years' experience in an IT support role, or recently completed relevant networking training (degree or apprenticeship)
• Experience of basic troubleshooting of networking solutions
• Ability to follow clearly defined procedures
• Experience with network monitoring tooling, such as Solarwinds or LogicMonitor
• Ability to analyse complex data and identify issues or patterns
• Experience working in an ITIL compliant service desk environment
• Exposure to non-Cisco infrastructure, such as HP, Juniper, F5, Citrix, CheckPoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or VMware NSX
• Product experience across Cisco switching, routing, firewalls, ACI, Hyperflex, ISE, DNAC, or SD-WAN is beneficial, as is exposure to VMware, Hyper-V, Windows, Linux, Office 365, or backup technologies
