They design and supply advanced server, storage, and networking solutions used by organisations building next generation data centres, AI platforms, and compute intensive systems. With strong global growth and increasing demand across multiple industries, they are adding new technical specialists to support their continued expansion.
We’re looking for a Presales Architect - HPC to join a customer focused technical team that supports organisations adopting complex compute, storage, and data centre solutions. This position blends technical depth with client engagement, involving direct interaction with engineering teams, solution owners, and senior stakeholders. You’ll help shape customer architectures, guide solution decisions, and support opportunities from early scoping through to deployment readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical presales guidance across compute, storage, and HPC aligned solutions.
- Act as a trusted technical partner for customers, supporting conversations from hands on engineering through to leadership level.
- Deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and product training to client teams and internal colleagues.
- Lead Proof of Concept engagements, including planning, configuration, troubleshooting, and outcome reporting.
- Support technical escalations by working closely with product, engineering, and sales teams.
- Help shape solution designs that meet customer requirements and long term architectural strategies.
- Assist with technical qualification of opportunities and contribute to presales activities.
- 5–10 years’ experience in infrastructure engineering, architecture, or technical presales within compute, storage, networking, or HPC environments.
- Strong capability in solution design, problem diagnosis, and technical troubleshooting.
- Broad exposure to server platforms, storage technologies, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of modern compute and storage hardware architecture.
- Confident communicator able to translate complex technical concepts for mixed audience groups.
- Formal qualifications helpful but not essential if supported by relevant hands on experience
