An exciting, fast-growing Managed Service Provider are looking for a Business Development Manager to support the business in growing and selling their managed services to new and existing clients. They are partnered with some of the most exciting vendors in the industry. They are however vendor agnostic which means they have the capability to provide solutions dependant on customer need. This MSP was originally built upon a Digital Marketing business meaning their marketing capabilities are top class and their lead generation means you won't have to do any cold calling.
As the new Business Development Manager, you will be integral to the expansion plans of the business. You will be primarily responsible for selling IT solutions into senior management within commercial/ public sector clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Selling a large variety of technologies to clients.
- Win net new business via utilising the tools you will be given.
- Manging and growing client spend in new and existing clients.
- Manage key relationships and identify opportunities.
- Act as strategic advisor for the client, guiding their decision making in the above-mentioned technology stacks.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Sales with experience in selling for a Managed Service Provider.
- Experience of selling into the commercial sector.
- Ideally you will have an established network and connections within the industry.
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
