An award-winning Managed Service Provider is looking for an IT Account Director to join their growing sales time based in Manchester. The business is an industry-leading provider, that delivers in to mid and large enterprise clients. The business delivers a variety of best-in-class services, including Networks, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure Consultancy services. They additionally pride themselves on client retention due to the quality of their work, with a view to offer a genuine partnership with their customers acting as a true consultancy. With a world class marketing and lead generation team, your approach to new business acquisition is straightforward and streamlined. Making your role to that much easier, as you have a pipeline of warm leads coming to you.
As the IT Account Director your role will be focused on delivering set renewal targets for several key client accounts, while also looking to up-sell and grow the client accounts you work on. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing client strategies to identify, engage and deliver into select accounts.
- Building client relationships, designing an account strategy, and delivering on a key technical roadmap.
- Owning customer relationships, looking to renew or leverage existing client relationships.
- Communicating and engaging with C and Director level stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Staying up to date with latest technical solutions and industry knowledge.
- Supporting the companies GTM approach.
- Supporting the organisation with its bid and tender processes.
The business will support you to work however is best for you in a hybrid and flexible environment. The business does ask that you have:
- Track record in selling either security managed services or consultancy services into enterprise or public sector clients.
- Experience in building and developing relationships with senior stakeholders, to deliver solution-based outcomes to their problems.
- Experienced in working with high-value deals, ranging from 5 to 7 figure values.
- Experience selling Networks, Cloud, or Infrastructure solutions (Cisco or Microsoft preferable).
- Demonstrate experience of winning new business opportunities through a consultative sales approach.
- Demonstrate previous experience of overachieving on annual sales targets.
- Client and customer led values: doing the right thing for your clients, based on their individual needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
