Job Title: Power Platform Presales Specialist Location: Remote, UK Based (with occasional office visits) Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + £10,000 Commission

The Company

I’m currently working with a well-established UK-based Microsoft partner that is continuing to grow its cloud and solutions capability. As part of this growth, they are looking to hire a Power Platform Presales Specialist to join their Cloud Solutions function.

This role is not a hands-on development position. Instead, it’s a commercially focused presales role, sitting at the intersection of sales, technology, and customer engagement. You’ll play a key part in helping customers understand the value of Microsoft Power Platform and wider Microsoft solutions, while supporting sales teams to drive new business and expand existing accounts.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Power Platform Presales Specialist, you’ll act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor across the Microsoft ecosystem. You’ll support the full sales lifecycle, from early discovery through to proposal and customer engagement.

  • Presenting and clearly articulating the value of Microsoft Power Platform to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Identifying and qualifying opportunities across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure AI, and related Microsoft solutions
  • Supporting account managers and sales teams throughout the sales cycle, including bids and solution shaping
  • Delivering workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and product demonstrations
  • Producing and contributing to proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation
  • Acting as a bridge between technical consultants and sales teams to ensure solutions meet both business and technical needs
  • Supporting customer adoption, governance, and security best practices following successful engagements
  • Enabling and upskilling sales teams through product awareness and solution enablement sessions
Your Skills & Experience

This role would suit someone with experience in Microsoft-focused presales, solutions consulting, or technical sales, who enjoys customer-facing work and translating technology into real business value.

  • Proven background in a Microsoft presales, solutions, or commercial technical role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and the ability to position its business value
  • Good understanding of the wider Microsoft ecosystem, including M365, Dynamics 365, Azure, and emerging services such as AI
  • Confidence delivering demos, workshops, and presentations to a range of audiences
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working closely with sales teams, partners, and Microsoft account teams
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge internally
Company Benefits
  • UK-based and primarily remote
  • Occasional visits to the company’s head office will be required (typically monthly)
  • Join a growing, people-focused Microsoft partner that truly invests in its employees
  • Be trusted as a specialist with autonomy and ownership in your role
  • Gain strong visibility and collaboration across customers and sales teams
  • Receive ongoing support and opportunities to develop your skills within the Microsoft ecosystem
