A growing technology services provider delivering professional services and software-defined solutions to enterprise clients is seeking a Sales Support professional to join its Sales & Marketing function. This role provides operational support to Business Development and Account Management teams, enabling efficient sales delivery and high customer service standards.
The business operates a small, close-knit sales team with a clear promote-from-within, meritocratic culture, offering genuine progression into sales roles typically within 12–18 months for high performers. The organisation is also actively leading internal and customer-facing adoption of AI, embedding it across operations and commercial activity.
- Act as first-line contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels
- Prepare and issue accurate quotes and proposals in line with pricing and company standards
- Maintain CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics or similar), ensuring data accuracy and pipeline tracking
- Support sales forecasting and reporting by updating opportunities and pipeline data
- Process sales orders and coordinate with finance, operations, and technical teams
- Support marketing activity including email campaigns, customer communications, and events
- Coordinate customer events, webinars, trade shows, and sales meetings
- Maintain sales documentation, contracts, and records in line with company and ISO standards
- Produce sales reports, presentations, and performance analysis
- Support onboarding and provide after-sales coordination with service delivery teams
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales support, sales administration, or similar role
- Strong CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with quoting, order processing, and sales pipeline management
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- Experience in technology, IT services, or B2B environments desirable
- Experience supporting marketing activity or working hybrid/remote advantageous
- Clear pathway to progress into sales and commercial roles
