The Company

We’re working with a fast-growing and well-established technology provider based in Newcastle, known for delivering modern IT solutions across cloud, endpoint, and security environments. As they continue to scale, they’re now looking to bring in a Technical Support Engineer to strengthen their support function and help deliver high-quality service across a diverse range of clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid grounding in Microsoft technologies to further develop their technical skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve technical issues, support new solutions, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing 2nd/3rd line technical support across Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and endpoint security solutions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving incidents across a variety of client environments
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor to users and stakeholders
  • Supporting solution rollouts, onboarding, and deployment alongside senior engineers
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and contributing to knowledge-sharing across the team
  • Keeping security, performance, and user experience at the heart of every support interaction
Your Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a technical support or service desk role (MSP experience is a bonus)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint management
  • A good understanding of networking fundamentals and IT security practices (MFA, antivirus, compliance tools)
  • Strong troubleshooting ability and confidence supporting end users
  • Experience using ITSM tools and working within structured ticketing processes
  • A proactive and curious mindset with a passion for improvement and learning
